These terms cover your use of Mailex.ai, the shared inbox that sits on top of your fleet’s Gmail. By opening a workspace you agree to them on behalf of your company. If you are not authorised to do that for your company, don’t open the workspace. How we handle your data is a separate document: read the privacy policy.
Mailex syncs the Gmail mailboxes you connect and gives your team a queue on top of them: assignment, internal notes, tags, snoozes, load context, and an audit log. Gmail stays the system of record for the mail itself. We can change or retire product features, and we will give notice before removing something a paid plan depends on.
You are responsible for what the people in your workspace do with it, including keeping their Google accounts secure. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.
If something here is being abused in a way that puts other customers or the service at risk, we may suspend the workspace while we sort it out. We will tell you why.
Your email, attachments, notes, and everything else your team creates in Mailex belong to you. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: storing that content, syncing it with Gmail, showing it to the people in your workspace, and processing it to produce the AI drafts and summaries you ask for. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train generalized AI models.
Starter is free. Paid plans are billed per seat, monthly or annually, in advance. Adding a seat mid-cycle is prorated; removing one takes effect at the next renewal. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the workspace running until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund partial periods unless the law where you are says otherwise. Prices can change with 30 days’ notice, never inside a term you have already paid.
You can delete your workspace at any time from the product. We can end the agreement if an invoice goes unpaid after we have asked, or if the workspace is used for something in the list above. Either way, export what you need first: after deletion we remove your data on the schedule in the privacy policy, and it is not recoverable once that runs.
We work hard to keep Mailex up, and Scale plans can carry a contracted uptime SLA. Outside that SLA the service is provided as is, without warranties, and we depend on Google and our subprocessors for parts of it. To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited, such as fraud.
If we make a material change we will email workspace admins at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Mailex after that date means you accept the new version. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current one.
Email legal@mailex.ai and a person will answer.
